More than 600 delegates from the Alliance of Conservatives and Reformists in Europe and its member party “Prosperous Armenia” gathered at the Yerevan Summit 2017, last week, in Yerevan, Armenia.
Alongside ACRE’s Council meeting, the “Yerevan Summit 2017: Building a more Prosperous World”, brought together a distinguished selection of speakers including Jan Zahradil, MEP , Gagik Tsarukyan MP and Leader of Prosperous Armenia, Daniel Hannan MEP, Daniele Capezzone MP, Anne Louhelainen MP, James Wharton, Thierry Baudet MP, Naira Zohrabyan, MP, Tigran Urikhanyan, MP and Mikayel Melkumyan, MP.
The Summit hosted two sessions focusing on “New politics for the sake of welfare world” and on “international trade and economic relations”.
In his message of support, ACRE President, Jan Zahradil stressed the importance of sovereignty, free markets, private property, and economic liberalization to the success of small nations. Furthermore, he emphasized how small nations rely on open economies and on the international trade exchange system in order to transition to entrepreneurial and prosperous societies, and how Armenia should pursue such policies and preserve close cooperation with its European neighbors and partners.
